jpegpixi software package provides Remove hot spots from JPEG images with minimal quality loss, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install jpegpixi
jpegpixi is installed in your system.
Make ensure the jpegpixi package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep jpegpixi *
You will get with jpegpixi package name, version, architecture and description in a table
